So apparently I heard that Jenny’s older sister really hated me when we were kids, but now we’re friends on FaceBook, which is kind of awesome. It kind of took me by surprise when I found out it was Jill who didn’t like me because I thought Jenny was the one that hated me. Boy, was I ever off, right? So my mom told me that we could watch Law & Order UK when I was there (hallajuah!) even though she thinks its boring. And, of course, we’ll be watching Law and Order Special Victims Unit too because she likes that one. She likes CSI, but CSI is a little slow for me. *sigh* Oh! Before I forget because I have to leave the house in about twenty-five minutes I won’t be able to add any Blogs here for a few days, maybe about two weeks. But don’t worry! I am SO tired because I got up at 6:30 A.M. today and it’s 7:43 A.M. right now. Anywho, talk to you Nahie’s later. (BTW, Nahie is pronounced “Nah-He”)

Okay, so for today’s blog, I wanna talk about Near, who showed up in Volume Seven of Death Note. He’s pretty much “emotionless”. And he can be found wearing white PJs and playing with toys pretty much everywhere he goes. I first saw Death Note on YTV when there was nothing on during a Friday Night. Then after about two months, one of my friends came over for a sleepover and mentioned “Death Note”. So we watched it and from there, I got addicted to it.

So for Near’s voice actor:

He’s played by a woman, Cathy Weseluck, which really surprised the hell out of me when I first heard his voice when he was at Wammy’s House. But what was not normal, and I am not making this up, her voice went very well with that character. Of course, it did scare me at first. After I watched his debut episode (27), I went out and bought all the Death Note manga’s. Compared to the Anime, Near in the manga is a little creepier because I finally saw what he looked like when he smiled. And it scare the ever-living life out of me. I thought, “God! Do not smile, Near, like, ever!”
